Montecatini Alto is an enchanting historic village which dates back to medieval times and is remarkably well preserved.
The holiday home provides the perfect spot for enjoying views and spectacular sunsets across the valley.
The historic centre of Montecatini Alto, an old haunt of composer Giuseppe Verdi, is just 10 minutes away on foot. Here you can find restaurants, osterias and bars around a traditional piazza.

“Porta del Borgo” lies on the hillside, just a stone’s throw from our olive groves, and is part of the “Podere Cavozzoli” farm, which produces organic extra virgin olive oil of the finest quality.
The stone walls, wooden beamed ceilings and exposed brickwork of this traditional home offer an authentic experience of Tuscany.
There is a garden with a barbecue area where you can enjoy al fresco dining.
A parking space is available next to the house.
You can visit the farm and take part in our olive oil production.

There are lots of options for walking, hiking and mountain biking on the country lanes and marked footpaths in the local area.
Visit Montecatini Terme by bus, on foot, or on the historic funicular. The town has numerous thermal baths and open-air public swimming pools where you can relax.
The house provides an ideal base for exploring Tuscany. Visit the main art cities by car, bus or train: Lucca is just 34 km away, Pisa 48 km and Florence 50 km. Enjoy the seaside resort of Viareggio (50 km) or hit the ski slopes at Abetone (50 km).
The nearby quarry at Monsummano Terme offers great rock climbing routes for all levels, with stunning views to boot!

The house: kitchen diner, bedroom (1 double bed and 1 bunk bed), bathroom and utility room. Maximum number of guests: 4 + 1 small child/baby. Pets are welcome. The house is non-smoking. All kitchen utensils are provided.
